Cypress Cove is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility, serving
the long term care needs of Citrus County and the surrounding area.

Cypress Cove delivers quality care in a warm personalized manner.
Ours is a flexible, interdisciplinary approach to health care, centered around
caregiver compassion delivered in a comfortable, home like setting.

We serve the health care needs of all age patients through a full
spectrum of extended care services. Our team of health care professionals
tailor programs to meet each patients specific needs. In this way, we
insure the best possible care for each patient.

THE CONTINUUM OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES
The Cypress Cove system serves patients needs through multiple
levels of care, as well as respite care and outpatient rehabilitation

SUBACUTE AND SKILLED CARE
The center meets the special needs of subacute and skilled level patients with
physical, occupational, speech, respiratory and medical nutritional therapies, combined
with 24-hour nursing care. Whether provided for several weeks or several months, our
physician-directed subacute and skilled health care services are designed
to complement a hospital stay.

TRADITIONAL CARE
The center provides consistent nursing care to traditional care residents for
support in their daily activities Through our care which can range from several months
to a year, these patients are able to achieve and maintain the highest possible level of function.

RESPITE CARE
The Center's Respite Care is a short term care program designed to give
family members a much needed break from the demands of caring for the chronically
or terminally ill at home. Whether its for the weekend or a few weeks, the center provides
the patient with a comfortable, secure medical and social environment.

REHABILITATION SERVICES
The Center's comprehensive rehabilitation services round out our spectrum
of care. These services , provided by licensed rehabilitation personnel, are either
available on either an inpatient or outpatient basis.

PHYSICAL THERAPY - Helps patients regain their strength and mobility, manage pain or adapt to a permanent physical disability.

SPEECH THERAPY - Helps patients overcome communication
conditions such as aphasia, swallowing difficulties and voice disorders.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY - Helps patients regain as much independence as possible with visual perception training, upper extremity strengthening and coordination, and self care skills.

RESPIRATORY THERAPY - Assist patients with breathing difficulties to reduce fatigue and increase tolerance in performing daily activities.

MEDICAL NUTRITIONAL THERAPY - Promotes a better diet and a healthier lifestyle with personal counseling and nutritional guidance.

OTHER SERVICES
Cypress Cove also offers audiology services,
outpatient services, social services and recreation.
